Tis the Season - A/C Stopped
I have a 2000 C280 (1 month out of warranty), and the AC blows hot air. I would like to try and repair it myself if at all possible.
Here is what I know:
1 EC light is NOT on
2 Compressor does not engage while temp set to LO or with climate control on defrost. Actually, it never engages now
3 Some codes from climate control while running
01: Interior temp 69
02: ambient temp 55 (yesterday it was 88 - Cleveland)
03: ?? 74
05: Evap temp 65
06: engine coolant temp 149
07: refrigerant pressure 006 (yesterday 009)
08: refrigerant temp 77
4 recent repair: blower motor replaced
Any suggestions on where to start?
