Had one of the Mercedes Specific shops in town check the car out. They found that one of the hard vacuum lines had broken "like someone cut it". Yeah ok. Car behaved slightly better, but still not great.

Took it to the other Mercedes Specific shop in town [like this guy MUCH more but he's also MUCH busier], within 5 minutes he'd figured out that the hard line originally had melted, and the techs at the other place had neglected to take the melted CHUNK of plastic out of the line before hooking it back up. ?!?

Had the oil changed [Mobil 1] and a tranny service done since it was already up in the air. He's got my business for good.

Car hasn't made a bad shift since. Shifts silky smooth with no slip whatsoever.
