Are MB's really more complicated?

Toyota's and Lexus' have almost all the safety and convenience features of MB's.

ABS, ESP (called VSC by Toyota and Lexus), Brake Assist.
Pyrotechnic seat belt pretensioner.
Airbag, side airbag, side curtain airbag.
