Personally I dont see any reason for marriage unless you are going to have kids, and unless I missed something in Biology....
I was taught that the founding fathers quote of pursuit of happiness related to financial happiness, not being able to fornicate with a goat if you like it. (or whatever). As far as being equal, any person can get married if they want to someone of the opposite sex, it is equal already. What mostly bothers me about it is the kids that are going to be raised in this type of situation, since it will be easier to adopt if there are 2 parents even if its mom and mom or dad and dad, and thus real parents are going to have a harder time adopting, for legitimate reasons like a woman cant get pregnant. And i dunno too many gay guys that act like men, and thus the kids going to miss out on all the normal things like rebuilding carburetors and gun shows. And dont say "just because someones gay doesnt mean..." yes it does. My intolerance of gay marriages stems from moral and ethical beliefs having nothing to do with god but just common sense, you're not supposed to do certain things, and go against the grain of nature is one of them. At one time, being gay was a problem, disorder, much like everything is today, so why did that change and being shy became a mental handicap? Something is terribly wrong, and change is bad, and things suck enough. As far as im concerned, homosexuality is just another perversion, not a lifestyle.
