If all the Goodyear tires I balanced left imbalanced than I am simply astonished that all those Mercedes owners were not right back on the service drive complaining?? Hm……15 years with a dealer, many services with rotate & balance tires, plenty of time to experiment, and plenty of time to be very picky about the work I released to a vehicle owner.

In my experience Goodyear tires were simply different when it came to balancing. More often than not the many Goodyear tires I balanced requested an additional weight in a third location (Sorry, this is unacceptable in my mind!!!) When I altered my balancing practice, previously mentioned, with respect to Goodyear tires I simply experienced better results. Either the equipment was bad or all the vehicles I serviced did not have picky drivers. I doubt that either one of these were a possibility since the dealer I was working for cycled 140 to 170 Mercedes vehicles a day, many of those were services that included rotate and balance.

Take care.
