Re: Different speaker grills in 124

Silicone, good idea! I'm just installing some Bostons (ctx5) in the front dash and need to fill the small gaps with something. Does anyone know if silicone comes in dark colors?

The rear speakers are another issue, though...could anything be any harder than replacing the rear speaker in '91 300e???

Are my only choices to cut (I'm not even sure the rotozip will be strong enough to cut through the steel), or go with a box....does anyone have any current pictures of boxes installed in a 124 (did a search of old posts, but many pictures would not show..)
