I am also geting intermitent hot air from the AC. It would be working fine and suddenly hot air starts coming out. Then it goes back to normal operation.

I installed a rebuilt AC push button unit to address this.

With the new unit, the problem had disppeared for a couple of weeks, but reappeared on a 88 F day.

Maybe the aux fans not working in high speed mode has something to do with this?
