hi guys i could realy do with your help i have a
380 sec 1985
just had a 500se engine 1990 fitted on the 380 running gear i have a few probs to deal with but my biggest problem is smoke
if i drive the car steady no smoke but when i floor it i get either a cloud of what seems to be white smoke
i am very concerned
earlier i took the car for a spin thought i would see if it would smoke so floored it hell it smoked thought i blew my engine then after driving steady again smoke gone
when i got home put the car in neutreul revved it and big puff of white smoke then revved again and no smoke??????????????

i am so worried the garage who fitted the engine said it seems to be running rich
they never had any computer software gonna bite the bullet and take it to a merc tech
car seems to still have electric faults

what a head ache

will it be ok?
do you think its resolvable.
the performance of the car is amazing though
