thanks for your advice guys
went to the garage today seems that the guys who put my engine in should open a butchers shop
anyway need a new idle valve
there are so many pipes these idiots have just blocked off.
today when i checked the water level it had gone down, to the car for a spin with the mechanic it went great no smoke and flew i know it a hot day but the temperture gauge started to go up and up very slowly
i did give the car some stick though, got back and opend the bonnet and i had an air block and the water coolent went to max,
the mechanic says that this could be caused by the engine being laid up for a long time and just take time for the water to get round the system, after the block had cleard drove car home and the very steady at the temperture went down slowlk the stayed just below the 80 mar (just over half)
went and picked my girlfreing up whats about 30mins away checked water level and it seems it has not gone down.
still worried though what should the temperture being staying at?
and what causes an air block?
many thanks guys for all your help i love the car but am still so worried about the engine i have done 140 mile with this engine still not been on motorway.
if you could reply to this post it would be great, one guy told me that it could be a cracked block, but the performance is amazing!
help
