The three middle air vents switch from vent to defrost on there own, intermittently while air conditioning is on. I took it in for service (56K miles so my warranty is expired). They said the "Center Vent Stop" is broken. The part itself is $97 and the labor to remove the dashboard is...(gasp!!!)...$1600. Does anyone have steps to remove the dashboard in an 02 ML320?
