hi! I took off the valve cover (cam cover) and it has a metal oil separator on my 87 MB 190E 2.3L 8V. I took out the oil separator and cleared it. It seems nothing inside the oil separator. Now, the stupid question is if nothing inside the oil separator, how does it function?
