I would be the first to agree that alcohol is the worst drug of all. I gave it up about 14 yrs ago when a drunk driver killed two of my childhood friends and put another one in a wheelchair for life. One of the ones who got killed was going to marry the guy who ended up in the wheelchair the next day. The other one who got killed was going to be the best man. I knew him literally from the sandbox. They were coming back from their wedding rehersal. The drunk was fleeing the police and hit them as they crossed an intersection, at 100 mph. He did two years in jail.
He created two orphan children and the saddest man I know.
