My 2001 SLK's warranty is due to expire in August this year. The MB dealer gave me the extended warranty pitch using a Nissan service contract. My SLK has only about 7K miles.

I'm generally against all non-OEM extended warranties, but I am curious if anyone has any experience with Nissan's service plan for their Mercedes. The official name of the service contract is "QualityGuard+Plus Supreme".

Basically, the plan is exclusion based which outlines what isn't covered. The cost for 6 years of coverage is about $2900 and has a $50 deductible.
