What could this sound be?

I am hearing a high pitched whine that sounds like it is coming from the right rear wheel area ocassionally. Sometimes it is constant and sometimes it is intermittant.

I have managed to control it a bit. If its not already making the noise, and driving over about 25mph, and I veer right it will make the noise. If it is already making the noise, veering left will make it stop as long as I am veering left.

Is this a bearing going bad?
