You're probably after an expert opinion, and mine isn't. Having said that the injector bodies are pretty solid, and I can't imagine over- tightening them would be a problem unless you're on them with a two foot extension. If you've gone to the trouble of replacing them you would probably be wise to check the pump timing, it being out by a couple of degrees can affect the amount of smoke you'll see, as well as the performance and noise.
