I have a 1978 450SEL - M117.986 motor with the K-Jetronic mechanical injection motor and electronic ignition which has been imported into Australia in the latter 1980's and is probably of UK origin but possibly South African.

It has never had any significant smog equipment and appears original.

It has no Ignition timing data plate and I would appreciate if anyone could supply me with the correct timing information including whether timing is set with vacuum connected or not.
