The slide switch in between the two left window switches in the center console is for disabling the power window switches on the rear doors, to prevent inadvertent operation (i.e. by children).

When the symbol is visible the window switches on the rear doors are disabled (the rear windows will still work from the console switches though). Slide it to the left to reactivate them.
