It looks good, then when the chrome begins to peel, you'll wish you've never chromed it in the first place.

When the chrome starts to peel then the rusting starts, especially on the part of the rim where the tubeless tires seal up. And you end up with flat tires. Once the bead area starts to rust you can throw the wheels away.
