Good advise, especially if there are multiple heirs. It's a good idea to probate the will if you think there will be ANY problems. I am the executor of my Dad's estate and I plan to charge the estate for mileage and three percent of the total value for my work, and believe me, there IS work!! Keep GOOD records and your lawyer's phone number handy.
