Well, on top of the shaft price the dealer wanted to charge me for a regular key, he insisted that I could not use the flip keys on my car if it didn't come with the infared lock from factory, claiming the key would not open the car. This is after I told him , I did not care for the infared, just wanted my simple key cut on one of those... what a hose bag..
