Thanks. The end with the allen, or in this case a star socket is the end that connects to the chassis, and I didn't have any trouble tightening that. It is the end with the stud. I will try to push it in with a prybar and see if I can tighten it up.

And the part # I posted earlier is the number on the part I pulled. I have replaced it with this:

I am having difficulty securing the end that has the threaded stud already stuck into it.
