From what I have read, I am thinking that it is the blower regulator as well. I am going o try replacing the pollen filter first to see what that does though. I figure it can't hurt to replace the pollen filter anyways.

But, I will probably end up getting the regulator. Please give me his Ebay ID and email address, and I'lll see if he can sell me one. Do you know whether or not the part is OEM?

Also, when your regulator quit, did you have the exact same symptoms that I wrote above? The fans would kick in to high gear when the car is standing still?
