You mght disconnect the coil wire or the neg battery terminal just to be safe. I've never had a problem rolling the engine over with the spark plugs in, it just takes a little more oomph. A short 1 foot breaker might be a little tough, I don't know how long my breaker is but it is longer than one foot.
