I was thinking more along the lines of a manual everything 240D in Mothers case... It would not take many car payments to go through the brakes, suspension, flex disks, etc, the wear items.
That's probibly another thread worth of conversation though..

I agree about the AC as well though, 98% of techs, even good ones, would never guess how bad the ACC can be on one of these cars, I imagine a lot of honest one's have lost there rear over them. Leaving thing's you don't know anything about the heck alone is always a good idea..
