For me when it comes to computers, get one that fits your needs. Most of the time I see people dumping cash on computers that have the capability way beyond what they need. As for a digital camera, get one that is small, have lots of memory. As for downloading, I think that working with Windows Xp is the easiest since you just plug the camera in and turn it on and then XP takes over and walks you through the downloading part.....
