You can release the tension to check it by removing the bolt that passes through the tensioner assy & a lug on the cyl.head, gently releasing it using a bar into the hole in the top of the tensioner. Are you sure you have the correct length of belt fitted?. The tensioner pivot can wear, allowing the roller to sit slightly skewed.

Hello peter,
The small shock is fine all shock bushings are fine.
The spring on the right side had snaped hence i changed it and after putting it back i found the belt running lose. ( The tension spring is fixed properly 100% sure the shock is fine 100% sure the tensioner roller is fine not skewed)
I wanted to know is there any other way of setting the belt like is there any adjustment in the pully ?
Finally the belt looks fine no cracks or any sign of wear and tear.
cheers
Mastero
