I'm obsessed, I bought another "Snail", a 1982 300SD

Nice car, engine rebuilt 50K ago, etc.

I took the seat switch out of the passenger door, the back of the seat wouldn't move and tried to mess with it and presto! little balls and springs everywhere!

I think it needs a new one. Is the install a problem?

Also, my odometers are dead, buy new, have rebuilt or what? What about a used cluster?
