I know my 300CD(n/a) aint fast, and I don't really try racing people in it, because it is slow... It is just plain slow... on the other hand my other car is alot faster, and will beat Honda's with same or greater hp, VW VR6's, and many of those other ricers that havn't had serious engine modifications... it still won't beat a WRX though

I know a 300SDL should be able to beat a few cars, eventhough i have never driven one, I just know from what I have been able to do in the 300SD's I've driven
