At first, at idle, my car wanted to surge or jerk forward strongly. also,
once shifting in Low going up a hill, shift was missed and it seemed like
it went to neutral instead. once under way, seems to shift ok.

then now it seems like it doesn't go into first, after it. has been parked
several weeks. any ideas?

Is this B2 or something else? (note: this is on a 722.118 tranny).

Can someone tell me if the tranny in my 1981 w123 body 300D (722.118)has the infamous B2 piston or a different version of it?

anyone have the b2 piston problem in a w123 body 300D 1981 and earlier (722.118 transmission)? if so, has anyone changed theirs or had theirs go bad for 1981 300D or earlier 300D? (1982 300D and later w123 body seems to have a later 722.3xx transmission).
(if so, is it part no. 107 270 04 32)?

also does the 722.18 have the k1 spring mentioned for 722.3/4xx trannies?

I'm at a loss what to do. if the tranny is blown or there is really a b2 piston
issue in this older 722.118 transmission.
