You are remembering a time when MB was not influenced by how cheap can Detroit make this thing. His car may not have these lube points. They are disappearing from the newer MBs. Your car has a beautiful C shaped chrome trim on the latch on the door which is fastened by two chrome screws. That was replaced with a black piece of plastic and two screws. Then they took away one of the screws. They may not even have the plastic piece anymore. I'll have to look.
