the plastic lines are known for leaking where they slide into the rubber hoses and fittings. If one "popped" off it is probably not sealing now. Lots of vac leaks can suddenly appear on a 20+ year old car. If the driver's door is the only one with the problem, take the panel off and check the actuator in that door.
