I purchased a new Cooper S and have enjoyed it quite a bit. I have made suspension and engine modifications and the car handles like nothing else I have owned. The 6 speed Getrag tranny and wire throttle in this car are such a pleasure. I must say BMW got this one right.........it's a BLAST to drive.
I find myself using it soooooooooo much more than the SL!!
