Yes., you will need the bolt set as the old bolts will not fit the new struts (i think the old bolts are larger in diameter than the holes on the new struts). Also, you may need some sleeves (210 352 00 43) to insert into the holes on the axle carrier to keep the new bolts well constrained in the axle carrier holes.

As long as you don't remove the shock absorber, you should be ok (as the shock provides the positive stop for the lower control arm and keeps the spring from coming off).
