On the engine side of my C43 I have removed the fog lights and installed ram air ducts and have run 3" tubing to the airbox which has been opened up on the inside and had screen removed. The two screens to the MAS were removed and then I bored out the MAS to 82mm from 72mm?. I also reshaped the intake elbow and put the throttle body on the lathe and cut a smooth 10 degree angle to enlarge the throttle body to match the diameter of the other tubes.

The intake manifold has been ported and port matched to the cylinder head. Also the intake length has been altered. I machined phenolic spacers to go between the cylinder head and intake manifold.

While my custom exhaust is a little different than the one shown above, it is mostly the same.

The result is that the engine pulls really hard and will spin the Kuhmo MX rear tires 255/40/17 at 25mph if I stomp the throttle to the floor.

The engine also pulls harder everywhere and has a very strong midrange an lowend.

Suspension includes SSR wheels, custom spring perches that allow 2.5" diameter race springs that an be changed in 30-40 minutes. Custom front swaybar 1.25" hollow and an adjustable rear swaybar. Penske shocks all around with compression canisters, so they are both rebound and compression damping.

And other stuff. Jeff
