Ok, JimF says: "you can disable the ASR by shorting Pin 1 to Pin 6 in the 38 pin diagnostic connector." But Jim's500E says: ASR will be off as well as ABS." (I'm guessing there's a 50/50 chance this applies to my car as well)
This would be very bad, it only took a week before I owed this cars life to the ABS.

Krash: I do not want to smoke the tires, I just want the very annoying ASR disabled so I can have control rather than a computer designed to help a little old lady in the snow. I'm also looking into tires with better grip. I think with a little more traction the asr may never activate again. Some soft 225-245's maybe....
