Al Gore tried to steal the election by selective recounts until he got a permutation he liked. Several consortia of independent news organizations re-evaluated the ballots cast in FL and agreed that Bush would have won.

Its a lot more boring not to have fantasies. But you get to choose your own reality.

It would take a Constitutional amendment to postpone the election--it is mandated to be conducted on a certain day by the constitution. Any election carried-out on any other day would be illigitimate. No matter who won. It would be a horrible, stupid idea.

Much better to carry through with election even if there are bombs. Do it as scheduled and defy the MoFos.
