The valve has been loosened up because I can feel it moving when you touch it. I am quite sure the valve is working properly. (it was a new one as well) I still get the same code (p1444) as before. I have determined that I can get the check engine light to go off (as well as the big display that says "check engine elctronics") by turning the key to the on position (not starting car) and then off again several times. Don't know what that means. Is that merely resetting/erasing code or could that be symptomatic of the cause of the problem?
