Thanks for hanging in there with me.

Voltage is correct at the battery (14.2 on my meter), and all fuses are good. I will remove the air cleaner and check the wiring underneath and see if that does the trick. I have had no sudden radio turning on problems but the gas gauge is still flaky and the ambient temp gauge almost came back to life over the weekend but then died again this morning.

What do you think of this being caused by a shorting fuel level sensor? I do not know where it is on the tank, but presume there has to be some type of sendiong unit. Any ideas on how to test or check that out?
