OK lets try this again. My 1990 500SL has a problem where the wiper blade is making contact with the windshield trim on the drivers side and binding up to the point where it will seize the wiper. Is it possible the mechanism that extends and retracts the wiper blade can go out of time? The wipers were working well up to this point. The exterior linkage looks good. any thoughts??? Thanks
