If your referring to the torque of the 27mm bolt on the crankshaft I believe you do not have to remove that bolt. I just replaced the waterpump on my '87 420SEL and needed only to remove the pulley and the balancer to get at the pump bolts. There are lots of posts on here about the need to NOT remove that 27mm bolt when removing the water pump.
