I don't find any of my cars worse for wear parking among the masses than when parking on the north forty.
Besides, someone always parks right up to you anyway just to piss you off...

I've gotten more damage from idiots flinging doors open than runaway carts!
Anyway, I'd rather have a cart targeting my car at .05 mph than 5mph!
