We have a customer with this 04 MB 600 SL with accessory
problems.

He has been to the dealer 4 times for this problem without
a FIX.

The problem is that after about an hour of driving, the
battery light comes on and there is a text message "power
consumers off line". When this occurs, the convertible top
and other accessories are inoperative.

We need any advise on this problem as well as your
recommendation for the best lap top scan tool to
communicate with this car on the dealer level with full
access.
