thnx for the response! I narrowed it down to the dimmer switch,as you said it might be! sprayed it real good with contact cleaner and it started working. i also fixed my d/side door window with some silicone spray. both of these suggestions came from this forum, So i might advise DIY's to read and search will save you a lot of time and $$$ thnx Paul
