I'd get a very nice used 928 GT and a Murph928 supercharger kit for $30,000. You would have a car that not many could keep up with on the street or track. 600 hp for $30,000 can be a whole lot of fun! The 944 turbo can be made extremely fast too.

The NSX does have that WOW factor much like a Ferrari and it also has a low torque engine like many Ferrari's so it will feel like a Ferrari when you are having fun. The NSX's are very reliable and a great all around car. You won't win many speed races in the NSX but it would be a nice daily driver until you can get back in a Ferrari since that's what you really want.

Just save up for your Ferrari unless you can turn the NSX for a profit after driving it for a while. I don't think you will ever be happy with anything less than a Ferrari. Don't settle for less because you will never be happy with something you consider second best.
