Also, does the US get Mercedes with disabled headlamp washers? That is what I have heard. I have never ever seen the S420's headlamp washers turn on, even when I tried.
The real benefit of headlight washers is in snow country where the roads are salted in the winter. Road salt can reduce the effectiveness of your headlights by up to 70%.
If you have an S420 and the headlight washers do not turn on then they are broken. Do you know how to turn them on? If not, you must have the ignition on, the headlights must be on and you operate the windshield washer.
