Specific Euro headlight qeustions

Sorry about another eurolite post. I've been looking at old post for the last couple days and I have a few specific questions. First off I will either get the Depo or TYC headlights for an 83 300sd as I've found that most people are satisfied by the results from these lights.
I will run city lights but what prevents them from blinking when jumped from the corner lights?

The front end of my car was damaged and was not fixed properply so the front of one drivers side fender is not aligned quite right and the piece of metal under the light the the L shaped bracket connects to is slightly bent. Is this something i can take care of myself or shoud i have the pros look at this?
I'm gonna try to get a dig camera and get pics up here of the damage.

Will I have to fabricate a bracket? because from what I see, the euro lights are heavier and are supposed to be connected to the car at 3 points on the bottom.

thanks for looking at this post
