My 92 300e had developed an annoying clunk when shifting into higher gear.....after reading many posts on the subject, and taking Blackmercedes advice on an excellent shop in Edmonton.... Prestige Auto Repairs...I`m now free of that damn clunk ! Problem....worn / cracked forward drive shaft disk. That and a tranny service and a slight modulator valve adjust, and its a smooth as silk.
