Unfortunately, I have a w126 with no door keys (P.O. couldn't find them)
I took a lock cylinder to the locksmith and he said they were high secuiry locks. I have an ignition key that works fine but no door key (ign. one just slides in and won't turn)
All the locks are in good condition, I think the ignition has been replaced and thus the different key. Do I need to deal with the dealership on this issue of getting a door key or is there someone/somewhere I can send a cylinder to get a key made for it cheaper (locksmith told me 80 bucks for a door key...they use the vin...etc)
It would be really nice to find a decently priced key maker for this problem...I have a cylinder out and I could ship it somewhere if need be. Any ideas?
