The oil filter housing is actually sitting right by the passenger side exhaust manifold. The only way to access it is to remove the entire (upper and lower) airbox.

It would be easier to:
1. unbolt the two bolts of the engine cover (near the firewall)
2. unclip the upper and lower air filter housing
3. Remove the upper air filter housing with the hose and the engine cover as an entire assembly
4. Remove the lower air filter housing (just pull up)


You won't miss the oil filter housing after that.
