No problem regarding a war for oil, but it is a bit more than that. If the bad guys get hold of all the oil producing countries in the Middle East, we are truly screwed and there are some nightmare scenarios that would occur with a western world without cheap oil, or oil in general.

It is essential to the survival of the west that we can assure continued crude oil flow in the free market until we come up with VIABLE alternative energy sources.
